Xiaogang Hu is an assistant professor in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. He was trained in motor control and biomechanics at Penn State University for his PhD, and completed his postdoc training in stroke neurophysiology and rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago with Dr. Rymer. His research interests focus on neural-machine interface and neural stimulation targeting the upper limb functions of individuals after stroke or arm amputation.
